Please Note

Due to potential conflicts of interest, we cannot offer counselling to individuals who are currently trainees of HCC. If you are currently receiving counselling with HCC and wish to apply for training, you would be required to end your counselling before beginning training within an appropriate timeframe. This can be discussed during the application process.

A message from our Training Manager

Choosing to train as a counsellor is a big decision and choosing the right training provider matters.

At Highgate Counselling Centre, trainees receive a comprehensive, professional training while becoming part of a close, supportive community.

We are not just a training provider we are also an established counselling provider and run a full clinic throughout the year.

Our in-house placements and supervision ensure trainees are fully supported throughout their training and beyond. With placements in such high demand, having a guaranteed placement where you know you will be seeing appropriate clients is crucial. Each week, I sadly have to turn away a large number of external applicants seeking placements. Our trainees do not have to concern themselves with such difficulties.

When trainees qualify, we remind them that HCC is always their professional home,  a solid foundation they can return to anytime in their careers. It really is a pleasure and a privilege to witness so many at the start of their counselling journey.
