About the Certificate
January – July 2027
We are now accepting applications for our Fast-Track Certificate in Counselling (level 3 equivalent) starting in January 2027.
This training provides students with the core skills to understand and apply the basic concepts of counselling together with the skills and knowledge required to facilitate a helping relationship. The course is equally relevant to those thinking of going on to further training as it is to people who are just interested in learning more about counselling and therapeutic work. It is open to those working in a voluntary or professional capacity, people wishing to develop their communication skills and for those taking their first steps towards becoming a counsellor.
Please note this is a Certificate in Counselling (level 3 equivalent) and is not a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling or Psychodynamic Skills.
Successful completion of the course fulfils the entry requirements for our Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, a BACP accredited training.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and early submission is encouraged.
