About the Certificate
September 2026 – July 2027
This is a part-time, face-to-face training programme running from September 2026 through to July 2027. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm–10:00pm, at North Bank, Pages Lane, London N10 1PP.
This training provides students with the core skills to understand and apply the basic concepts of counselling together with the skills and knowledge required to facilitate a helping relationship. The course is open to those working in a voluntary or professional capacity, for those wishing to develop their communication skills in a variety of settings and for those taking their first steps into counselling perhaps with the view of becoming a counsellor.
Please note this is a Certificate in Counselling (level 3 equivalent) and is not a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling or Psychodynamic Skills.
Trainees successfully completing the course may wish to further their studies with us by participating in our Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, a BACP-accredited training.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and early submission is encouraged.
