About the Certificate
SEPTEMBER 2024-JUNE 2025
We will soon be accepting applications for our Certificate in Counselling Skills starting in September 2024.
This is a part-time training course and runs from September 2024 until June 2025. Face-to-face training takes place on one evening a week at North Bank, Pages Lane, London N10 1PP from 7pm to 10pm. Online training takes place via Zoom on the same evening from 7pm to 10pm. Both courses follow the same curriculum.
This training provides students with the core skills to understand and apply the basic concepts of counselling together with the skills and knowledge required to facilitate a helping relationship. The course is open to those working in a voluntary or professional capacity or for those wishing to develop their communication and interpersonal skills in a variety of settings. Please note this is a Certificate in Counselling Skills and is not a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling or Psychodynamic Skills.
Trainees successfully completing the course may wish to further their studies with us by participating in our Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, which is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
