Certificate in Counselling Skills

September 2021-July 2022

We have a few spaces available for our face-to-face training, which runs from North Bank, Pages Lane, London N10 1PP on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 10pm.  We also have a few spaces available on our on-line course, which will also be delivered on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 10pm via the Zoom platform.

Both courses run from September 2021 until July 2022.  The closing date for applications is Friday, 25th June 2021. If you have any queries, please contact our Training Administrator, Ruth Fitzgerald: ruth.fitzgerald@highgatecounselling.org.uk

Both courses follow the same curriculum, which aims to provide students with the core skills to understand and apply the basic concepts of counselling together with the skills and knowledge required to facilitate a helping relationship.  Both are open to those working in a voluntary or professional capacity or for those wishing to develop their communication skills in a variety of settings.  Please note this is a Certificate in Counselling Skills and is not a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling or Psychodynamic Skills.

The fee for either course is £1,850. There are number of ways in which this fee can paid, please see the course outline for further details.

Trainees successfully completing either course may wish to further their studies with us by participating in our Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (a BACP accredited course).  Preference for places on this course is given to Highgate Counselling Centre’s Certificate students.
